ACT/SAT Testing Policies and Calendars

Both the SAT and ACT are given at Cape Fear. Our school code is 341-298.

Please read the guidelines for taking the ACT and SAT carefully. If you do not adhere to the guidelines you will not be able to test.

  • must have their ticket in hand – no matter what, no exceptions
  • must have acceptable photo i.d.
  • CANNOT TEST AS A STANDBY

 

The ACT covers English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing

Fees:
ACT only $46.00
ACT with writing $62.50 (recommended)
Late fee $29.50

  • must have photo on ticket
    must have ticket in hand
    must have acceptable photo i.d.
    cannot come in as standby on test date
    cannot change test centers on test date
    cannot change test choice on test date

The SAT covers Reading, Writing, and Math
It is recommended that you have completed Algebra 2 before taking the SAT
