Hello and welcome to Cape Fear High School, home of the Colts!  It is a privilege and an honor to be the Principal of such a distinguished school, located in such a beautiful community.  Cape Fear High School is located east of the Cape Fear River, in a rural and developing area of Cumberland County.

At Cape Fear High School we stress the importance of academic excellence, community involvement, strong moral character and family.  It is our hope that every student who enters through our doors continues the tradition of receiving a sound and quality education.  Cape Fear High School is an excellent place because of its incredible faculty and staff who create a safe and orderly atmosphere while promoting student learning for all.  It would also be impossible for us to do our jobs without our great students, parents and community support.

For 5 of the last 7 years Cape Fear High School has been named a Bronze Medal School by U.S. News and World Report.  In Cumberland County, this is an honor known only to Cape Fear High School.  This further emphasizes our dedication to creating an atmosphere that pushes all students to reach their potential and become better versions of themselves.

Cape Fear High School also holds a strong tradition in co-curricular activities.  Our Navy ROTC Unit, Marching Band, Natural Science Academy, Agriculture Academy and Athletic teams have won multiple awards for their persistent excellence.  It is with great pride and responsibility that we provide these activities to help our students become not only superior students but also superior citizens.  It is our goal through these activities as well as our outstanding student achievement that our students always feel welcome and excited about their educational experience from year to year while attending our school.

Again, we would like to welcome you to Cape Fear High School and please feel free to come by and visit us.  If you are new to the area and interested in Cape Fear High please contact our main office for information about our school.
