Week of December 8th through December 13th
Monday, December 8th – Merry Monday Morning-Pajama Day
· The Admin team will be hosting our annual Hot Chocolate Bar
· BT meeting in the Media Center @ 3:50pm
· DECA is holding a Mandatory DECA State Competition meeting immediately after school in Mrs. Cox's Room 226. If you are planning to compete, you must attend this meeting. Registration and lodging dues are due by Thursday, Dec. 11th. Categories and roommates must be selected.
· Chorus Concert @ 7pm in the Auditorium
Tuesday, December 9th – Twinkle Tuesday-wear something that sparkles or lights up
· Our cafeteria staff will be serving their holiday meal during lunches today. Cost for staff is $5
· FFA will be holding their Christmas meeting after school in the Ag Building
· The Athletic Boosters will be holding their first annual Christmas sale in the Cafeteria from 4 to 8pm
· Basketball (JV Boys, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys) @ HOME vs Douglas Byrd. Game time is 4:30pm
· Cape Fear Dance Fall Semester Dance Concert at 6pm in the auditorium. Admission is free and all are welcome. Help us celebrate an evening of dance!
Wednesday, December 10th – Christmas Brings Laughter-Ugly Christmas Sweater
· FBLA will be having a meeting before school at 8am and after school at 3:45 in Room 224
· CFHS will host the ASVAB exam at 12:30 pm in room 229. Those interested in joining the Armed Forces will want to take the ASVAB and need to sign up on the roster outside the Student Services Department door. Also, students must report NLT 12:20 pm with their fully charged laptops and should attend the 1st-period lunch. At this time, freshmen cannot take the ASVAB. If anyone has any questions, they should see their grade-level counselor.
· Bowling @ B&B Lanes. Matches start ay 4pm
· Wrestling @ Purnell Swett. Matches start at 6pm
· NJROTC Awards Night in the Auditorium @ 6:30pm
Thursday, December 11th – Crazy Christmas Cluster-wear ALL your Christmas gear
· Exam jam is today from 4 to 6pm
· Girls Basketball @ EE Smith. Games times are 5:00pm and 6:30pm
· Boys Basketball @ Overhills. Game times are 4:30 and 7:30pm
· Swim at FSU hosted by Lumberton. Meet starts at 6pm
· Band Christmas concert @6:30pm in the Auditorium
Friday, December 12th - Frozen Friday-wear your favorite flannel
· CF pipeline academy will meet during 2nd period
Saturday, December 13th
· CFHS Band will be performing in the Fayetteville Christmas parade in the morning and the Stedman Christmas Parade in the evening.
· Holiday Classic Play in Game TBD
· Indoor Track meet @ Pinecrest
· Wrestling @ Cardinal Gibbons
