Monday, October 20 – Student Holiday/Telework Day
· Oct 20-26 CFNC Week- Most NC Schools are waiving their application fees. Please check cfnc.org to see the list of participating schools. Students must apply through cfnc and complete an application by 5pm on Oct 26 in order for the fee to be waived. More details on the senior canvas page.
· Driver Education Registration Information: Registration window opens today at 8:00 AM and closes November 3 at 8:00 PM. Class runs November 17 through December 12
· Soccer @ HOME vs. Gray’s Creek. Game times are 5 and 7. JV Soccer is having a Pink Out game! This is also a big game for Varsity! We encourage everyone to come support!
Tuesday, October 21
· Federal Cards go home today. We will be in HR every day for the rest of the week.
· SIT meeting at 3:50 in the Media Center
· DECA District Competition Practice in Room 226 from 3:45-5:00 PM
· Chorus Concert in the Auditorium
Wednesday, October 22
· Senior Picnic/Field Day/'25 Class Picture on Field from 11:45am to 2:00pm. FAFSA Bus- UNC-Pembroke Financial Aid Team will be on campus to assist any senior with FAFSA during the picnic
· CFHS will host the next ASVAB exam at 12:30 pm in room 229 (JROTC Room). Those interested in joining the Armed Forces will want to take the ASVAB and need to sign up on the roster outside the Student Services Department door. Also, students must report NLT 12:20 pm with their FULLY CHARGED laptops and should attend the 1st-period lunch. At this time, freshmen cannot take the ASVAB. If anyone has any questions, they should see their grade-level counselor.

· FFA to State Fair (All Day)
· DECA Induction Ceremony in the Auditorium from 5:30-7:00 PM

Friday, October 24
· Report Cards go home today
· Varsity Football @ HOME vs Terry Sanford (Senior Night). Start time is 7pm
Saturday, October 25
· Cross Country East Regional in Jacksonville, NC
· The Cape Fear Marching Colts will be traveling to Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC to participate in their Festival of Bands Marching Band Competition. The band will be competing in the 7A Class and will perform at 7:45 PM.
